1) LECTURE

Modules 1 - 4, Sections I - IV (Chapters 1 - 19)

First Module: Section I (Chapters 1 – 10)
Energetic Anatomy and Physiology
Date: April 2007 - February 2008, 9 - 4pm
Class Info: 6 hours per class, 11 classes, total 66 hours
Fee: $150/month

This first module offers the entering student an introductory overview of the foundations of Chinese Energetic Medicine. Students will explore the major principles and foundational structures that govern Traditional Chinese Medical Qigong and their Psycho/Emotional components. Course content includes: Introduction to Medical Qigong, Energetic Formation of the Human Body, Physical/Emotional Development and Structural Formation, The Five Energies of the Human Body, The Three Dantians and Center Taiji Pole, The Twelve Primary Channels and Organs, Eight Extraordinary Vessels, Collaterals, and Points, The Body's Energetic Points, and The Extraordinary Yang Organs.

Objectives: After completing this module, students will have a deeper comprehension of the body's emotional, psychological and energetic matrix.
 
Second Module: Section II (Chapters 11 – 14)
Medical Qigong and Chinese Alchemy
Date: 3rd Saturday in March and April 2008, 8am - 6pm
Class Info: 9 hours per class, 2 classes, total 18 hours

This second module offers the student an introductory overview of the Three Outer Forces: Heaven, Earth and Man. Students will explore the major principles and foundational structures that govern the Universal and Environmental energetic structures and how they influence the human body, mind and emotions. Course content includes: Introduction to the Three Outer Forces, The Three Treasures of Heaven: Sun, Moon, and Stars, The Three Treasures of Earth: Earth, Water, and Wind and The Three Treasures of Man: Jing, Qi, and Shen.

Objectives: After completing this module, students will have a deeper comprehension of the body's physical, emotional, mental and energetic relationship to the universal and environmental energetic fields.

Third Module: Section III (Chapters 15 – 18)
Medical Qigong Dao Yin Training
Date: 3rd Saturday in May, June, and July 2008,
8am - 6pm
Class Info: 3 classes, 9 hours per class, total 27 hours

This third module offers the student an introduction to the energetic relationships within the human body and how to cultivate and transform Qi using the Posture, Mind and Breath. Course content includes: Introduction To Dao Yin Training, Postural Dao Yin Training, Respiratory Dao Yin Training, and Mental Dao Yin Training.

Objectives: After completing this module, students will have a deeper comprehension of the body's energetic relationship to the physical structure. They will obtain an understanding as to the mental and emotional influences on the psyche when affected by environmental and universal energetic fields.

Fourth Module: Section IV (Chapters 19 – 20)
Rectifying Qi Deviations with Medical Qigong Therapy
Date: 3rd Saturday in August and September 2008,
8am - 6pm
Class Info: 2 classes, 9 hours per class, total 18 hours
Fee: $450

This fourth module offers the student an overview of how and why the energetic patterns within the human body can become corrupted and how to rectify Qi Deviations when they happen. Course content will include Introduction To Qi Deviations, Mental and Emotional Disorders and Deviations of the Soul and Spirit.

Objectives: After completing this module, students will have a deeper comprehension of the body's energetic relationship to the physical structure and mental and emotional disorders and Deviations of the Psyche.
