At the internship clinic, you will be treated by an intern in the Medical Qigong program. The entire process lasts about one hour, which starts with a 10 minute interview about your health. Next, the intern uses his or her assessment skills to check the state of your health, which may include tongue, pulse, flat palm, and energetic viewing techniques. The treatment that follows is designed to address your specific health conditions, and consists of touch and non-touch modalities to help purge, strengthen, and regulate your physical and energetic body via the meridian points, channels, and organs. After treatment, another 10 minutes is taken to recommend life style changes, as well as prescribe specific Qigong exercises that will aid in regaining and maintaining your health.
