The 2nd Chinese Daoism Culture Festival will be held from Aug. 24-29 in Chengdu. The festival is sponsored by Chinese Daoist Association, Daoist Association of Sichuan Province and Daoist Association of Chengdu. There will be lots of activities during these days. They mainly are: 1. The Opening Ceremony and the magnificent performance; 2. An International Conference of Daoist Culture; 3. a series of lectures about Daoist culture; 4.an exhibition about Daoist cultural relics; 5. an exhibition about Daoist cultural production; 6. Chinese Daoism Charity-----used to help students who can’t afford to go to college; 7. the 6th Daoism musical performance; 8. the closing  ceremony-----thousands of people playing Taiji. There will also be different activities in different temples, such as Qing Yang Gong Temple, Qingcheng Mountain, Heming Mountain Temple, Yangping Temple, Laojun Mountain Temple.
