Overview
The Medical Qigong students at Nature's Path Center will experience basic applications of Medical Qigong purgation, tonification and regulation exercises. Classes include lectures and labs. They will also be taught to recognize specific Medical Qigong exercises and meditations, and learn when and when not to apply these exercises in cases of clinical application (purging excess, tonifying deficiencies and dispersing stagnations). The students are also taught Energetic Psychology and how to deal with the emotional discharges coming from their patients.
A certificate will be issued for the student who has successfully completed both Level A and Level B of the first year course. This will include an oral and practical examination. Successful completion of the examinations will enable the student to qualify for the more advanced Master of Medical Qigong Therapist training courses.
Two Formats of Study
Weekly Classes
The Introductory and Intermediate Classes are conducted on a weekly basis. They run for 6 months and meet for 1 1/2 hour sessions. The advanced courses run for longer than 6 months and meet for 2 hours per session. For specifics go to the side link (left): "Weekly Classes" or click here.
Monthly Intensives
Intensives are offered monthly, typically an all day Saturdays. We cover the same material as the weekly classes, except in a more compact timeframe. This course was designed for the out-of-town students or for those who wish to cover the material at a more accelerated pace.
